Thank you, Miles, for a small dose of hopeium this Friday morning. My levels are dangerously low.

Spent 5 years investigating and prosecuting federal bribery and RICO resulting in corruption convictions and hard time.

The ball room fund raiser for huge contracts is a no brainer. Corporate counsels ought to be fired for counseling the corruption.

Justice would be those building ice facilities end up there after their own prosecutions?

Yes. One of my true desires is exactly that: they end up in a concentration camp

that they designed.

The end of their violent revolting white washing plus paying for favors. I’m finally hitting the wall for finding adequate language to describe these companies, their directors, owners and shareholders… how’s sewage? t’s already in the toilet re ratings. Then there’s miller et al. He’s my # 1 in any future nuremberg 2 trial.

Thanks Miles for some good news this morning, even though I'm Canadian I love to see Trump lose.

A question (and I have no idea of the answer): could Democrats on the relevant committees proceed immediately to give notice to the known "donors" to preserve their records? And publicize it! That might give pause to future prospects Trump might want to hit up.

Thanks Miles for keeping us informed.

I know - we can let Comer deal with it in his ineffective oversight committee - he's an insurrectionist that follows the corrupt Project 2025 to make the boss happy - and BTW he won't show us his portfolio or how he is abusing his campaign funds - they all are with no FEC. But then we have the Insurrectionists in the Judicial Committees that can fix this - oh I forgot - they are corrupt too. Let's just give Bezos and Musk more money for Mars and Ellison some more federal contracts for computer support. Thiel got his and moved to Nazi Argentina (tells you a lot) and much of Congress is invested in Palantir, CoreCivic, GeoGroup, and Blackrock and Vanguard funds. Congress doesn't care to do anything about corruption - they are the corruption. And the fraternity protects its own insurrectionists and pedophiles.

Disgusting.

So you give some cash to the wannabe dictator-king (the dementing and decaying one) and as a reward you get to grab in the bag of taxpayer money, the bag of money filled with the dollars of hard working citizens.

Wahoo!! How uplifting (and darkly pleasant) to read of FOIA and discovery requests that will / should lead to accountability for smug pay-to-play oligarchs. You warmed the this former prosecutor’s heart ♥️! Kudos!

Great article Miles. I am passing this on along with the Public Citizens report.

We do have to keep our focus on flipping red seats blue in Congress though for the accountability to happen though. We know none of the sitting Republicans will vote for investigating this.

It seems to me, Miles, that the "bunker" will move forward, regardless of the ballroom decision. Your thoughts?

John Robert's avatar

One way or another, Trump will find a way to build the new fuhrer bunker. He knows he will need somewhere to hole up on January 20, 2029. The former shelter just wasn't suitable for someone of his importance, what with no gold plastic geegaws on the walls, for heaven's sake.

Everything about his epitomizes the word tawdry.

If anyone wonders exactly what that old Southern expression "tacky" means, just think what Trump's done to the Oval Office.

🚨GTFOTCE ALERT: From Project Salt Box👉🏻 https://projectsaltbox.substack.com/p/ice-plans-to-reopen-prairie-correctional?r=56o4q8&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email

Apparently the citizens living in the area around Appleton think it sounds like a good idea to reopen this Prison Facility to have more jobs, & "better to keep detainees closer to home" 👇🏻https://www.startribune.com/shuttered-appleton-prison-will-convert-to-immigrant-detention-under-proposed-contract/601853735?utm_source=gift 🎁

Is GTFOICE up yet? is there anyone signed up in that area that could Educate the Population on the Evils & Protest the site. This doesn't mention any Political Push Back in this area.

🚨🚨DOES ANYONE OUT THERE WANT TO TAKE ON THIS BATTLE⁉
