Over the weekend, the president and his allies in government issued brazen attacks on the free press, as questioned swirled about Trump's ongoing Iran war.
Thank you for what you do. I'm truly getting tired of fluff instead of TRUTH already! Can we fast forward to a "new" administration that obeys the Constitution and Bill of Rights and right this sinking ship. Or sink it and start from scratch! Oh and Kathy "HE" ISN'T a KING and never will be.

I have some questions about that KC-135 that went down. It appears that there were 2 crews aboard that plane. Why 2? Were they training them, moving them from one location to another. Back during the Vietnam War, tankers had a crew of 4, pilot, co-pilot, navigator & boom operator. Now, for most missions it appears they do not have navigators. But it looks like from the rank of the individuals listed as KIA that there possibly were 2 pilots, 2 co-pilots & 2 boom operators. Why?
I have been trying to get a more precise location of the crash site, more information than "western Iraq". I found one article that listed a location that I could not find on the map, in fact when I put the name in Erbil is the name that came up. That location is much closer to Iran.
And this nonsense about the plane being up & running. I hardly think so. If all 6 were killed it's likely that plane will/can never be repaired.
All of the above are suppositions only, I admit that. But there has to be some other retired KC-135 crews out there with questions. I'm only the ex-spouse of a navigator but I took enough interest in the missions my ex flew & information about the aircraft that prompts me ask for more info. If 2 tankers were involved which was indicated in in one report, why two in close enough proximity that they possiby hit each other. That implies that the accident occurred either of take off or landing because I highly doubt they were actually flying close together & to my admittedly old knowledge, tankers don't fly in formation.
Now, if the accident occurred during refueling we need information from the crew of the plane that did not crash. They would be direct witnesses to what happened.
If we're looking for fake news, I'd suggest finding out more about that accident &/or mission.
As The Guardian and other news outlets have reported: “European countries have resisted Donald Trump’s demand for help to clear the strait of Hormuz, seemingly reluctant to get dragged into the escalating US-Israeli war on Iran.” Trump is increasingly highly agitated. He’s desperate, delusional, and of course demented. Now he’s trying to blame broadcast networks like CNN. However the truth gets out through sources we trust that the FCC cannot control, including Substack, Reuters, The Guardian, and for us even the English edition of LeMonde and Al Jazeera. The Senate and House Democrats want Hegseth and Rubio to testify in open hearings, not behind closed doors. If these hearings actually happen it will not go well for Hegseth and Rubio. It was a disaster for Noem and Bondi!
Miles, Trump has committed several acts of treason. So HOW has he not gone to prison? Jabuary 6th, Threatening and telling his followers to kill the house speaker and VP because they would not agree to do what he wanted, He's a loose cannon that has been somehow allowed to keep firing....WHY?

In a digital age, this tyrant will be hard pressed to suppress information forever. When our young people start coming home in caskets, their relatives will tell their relatives, who will tell their friends…etc. He can’t suppress what people see with their own eyes, or what is disseminated by ordinary people. Increasingly, it also seems that people who wish to be informed are turning to independent media sources. He will cripple legacy media, but many of us will go elsewhere. He is fucking nuts and totally without a moral compass, but he and his group of C-listers are in over their heads.
Even people who have been placed in solitary confinement in domestic and foreign prisons find ways to communicate with the outside world. The instinct for survival in the face of tyranny makes for a form of creativity that people like Trump do not understand. Struggle is a teacher that those born with silver spoons always underestimate. Your mind can be a prison in complicity to the bully, or the keys 🔑 to your freedom from tyranny.
I am hopeful that Trump will become more intimately familiar with the word "treason" and its punishments.
