I hope everyone in the Trump Regime pays the price for what they've been doing and continue to do for that demented lunatic.

I hope that this country swings so hard back toward equality, peace and freedom that the U.S. becomes a beacon of sanity in the world.

Thank you Miles. I am so happy to subscribe to this. No matter how much I freak out information like this brings my feet back in contact with the ground.

Thank you for the historical perspective on the likes of Blanche! He, and others, would in another world likely be considered pretty smart and able people. But they act like the don't understand the law, don't know pitfalls that litter our history, and don't believe life will deal them any consequences. Who in any walk of life can live successfully under such ignorance?

it may seem that Toady Blande & the rest of the clown cabinet are blind to negative consequences, but imho they've simply decided the potential for grift outweighs the downsides of disbarment, jail time, & professional ruin. I suspect they all have hidden crypto/offshore accounts where they're accumulating capital from bribes, insider stock trading & prediction markets. They've done the math & decided the risks are acceptable in light of some fat billion $ payoff at the end 💸💸💸

...so maybe the critical questions are actually: how do we follow the money when it's likely hidden in crypto or otherwise outside US banks? given that: can it ever be used as legal leverage or otherwise reclaimed to pay fines & damages related to criminal behavior? 🧐🤬🤷🏻‍♀️

apparently Toddy tries to............and he's pretty much dumb-as are all of those idiots afraid of their own poop...They know the law- they are choosing money........and they think money will set them free..............fools-

There needs to be a modification of the power to grant pardons. Knowingly and deliberately committing criminal acts in the furtherance of a criminal political agenda must not be pardonable. The pardon of the J6 1600 is a prime example, as well as the vindictive prosecution of political adversaries. Donffrey Trumpstein is making "Vlad the Bad" Putin proud.

Miles: What a refreshing reminder that all is not lost. Thank you!

Question: Has the power of the president to offer preemptive pardons or blanket pardons for unspecified crimes ever been challenged in court?

Question: Is there a general principle in law that an otherwise legal action performed for a corrupt purpose may itself be illegal (e.g. granting a pardon to someone committing a crime at the president’s behest)?

I think this doesn't have the correct summary. We need 3 House GOP with ethics to join the Dems for awhile to turn the committee memberships. First they need to remove several insurrectionists and pedophiles from the Judiciary Committee - Jordan, Roy and Biggs would be a good start. The DOJ does answer to the Judicial Committee but not with this leadership. On the Senate side, Cruz (pedophile protector) , Hawley, Grassley, Graham and Cornyn have to go - all insurrectionists. Also not enough said about Comey's work pointing to the GOP funding of the capital riots.

Miles, I respect your opinion immensely. And not to be negative, but if we take a look at Mike Flynn, for example, as you of course know better than I, he pled guilty, was pardoned, he sued for malicious prosecution, and the DOJ has agreed to pay him $1.25 million in restitution! I don't think these guys care about their legacy and history books. Trump will pardeon ALL of them. Don't they just care about the grift and the power in this cult they're in?

It’s astounding that Blanche et al believe themselves to be invincible and that they can ignore the law.

Getting tired of waiting for any consequences at all to befall any of this group. We'll have to rely on the states & they better start keeping track right now.

As an aside, I saw that meme that trump posted of himself with Vance, Rubio & Bergum & some unnamed "cutie" in a bikini in the reflecting pool. It's obvious trump is a sick man so why is no one in his family, cabinet or the Republican party stepping in to stop this from going on. I couldn't give a rat's ass about trump as president but as a deluded, doddering old man I can ask, better yet state to those people I mentioned above:

Have you no sense of decency to help a person in crisis or is money, greed & power more important to you?

Glenn Kirschner pointed out that Blanche, when asked if all the others who have posted similar messages and are selling merch w 8647 on it will be prosecuted. He said ‘of course not’… which basically admitted this is a vindictive/selective prosecution. Comey isn’t a very good person, but he’s lightning years smarter than felon and his dirty DOJ toadies.

I am hoping the full power of the law will eventually come down on their heads. What better way is there to let the world know that we are aware of the massive corruption of this administration, and we have had enough!

There will be an accountability one way or another! Trump's regime will be known as the "bulldoze" administration. In spite of his recent insane Truth Social post holding a (losing) hand of UNO wild cards in which he boasts he "holds all the cards," he does not hold the hearts and minds of the American people. (The only cards that really matter). Trump is obviously very scared 😱 because he recently called for the impeachment of minority leader Hakeem Jeffries in order to avoid HIS next foreseeable impeachment and ouster.
