I’d like to point out that many republicans are trying to distance themselves from felon lately bc of his unpopular policies. Do not be fooled! They’ve banked on his staying in power to keep enriching themselves and pursuing their own interests. Now that the ship has a few holes in it, they’re bailing ..but just a little.
These spineless corrupt cowards should have been doing their jobs all along, representing the people they ‘serve’, upholding their oath to the constitution. If they had done their jobs, none of these acts we are being forced to do would have been necessary. If they’d said ‘no. The Kennedy center isn’t yours, you big toddler. We are in charge’, he wouldn’t be ‘giving it back to them’🙄. If they’d said NO immediately to his Cop Beaters Fund ( thank u glen kirschner for that name), there wouldn’t have been a need for capital police to sue him, using their own $. If they’d said NO to ICE $$ and ridiculous armament w no guardrails, Renee Good and Alex Pretti and many others would still be alive. We would have $$ for food, shelter and medical care for our vulnerable. If they’d said NO WAR… the 8 times the war powers resolution was put forward, our servicemembers would be home and alive and thousands of Iraqi civilians would be alive. Same w Argentina…
My point is: do not be lulled into thinking these cowards are finally doing their jobs. As soon as the wind shifts they’ll be right back licking his….boots/florsheim shoes.
I’d like to see some $$ going to social media campaigns to remind people of this… the grift, corruption, dereliction of duty, etc.
There's a new crime everyday. And the Judicial and Oversight Committees are bound by their oath to take action. But with them being stacked with Insurrectionists and pedophiles the criminal spree continues. Lately - Trump asked the DOJ to attack Act Blue - but the Congressional bribes by the AIPAC are ok and since there is no FEC Congress can continue to abuse their campaign funds - as Hawley did. Insurrectionists Cruz, Hawley, Graham, Grassley, Cornyn, Jordan Biggs, Roy, Comer and others are not doing their job, seem spineless and definitely see the benefits of corruption in their pockets. MAGA is a minority but the corruption is so deep - with 535 in Congress it could be corrected by the those that claim to have ethics. The thought of Cruz in SCOTUS forever makes me ill; Texas will not reelect him; he is rich and old enough to retire and should. Maybe MTG, Massie, and Cornyn are seeing the corruption.
Everything here is truly exciting. And it's the way it should be. The fact that our government is NOT working for us is bad enough. The fact that it's doing corrupt stuff to boot is bad. I truly don't want to be considered part of said corruption unless it's in a good way and resisting it is a good way to do it. NO KINGS JUNE 14th 2026!
It's great to see the courts fighting back & even more astounding there even appears to be an iota of movement from the worthless Republicans. Oh, I'm not fooled, if they can withdraw back to their trump dominated shells, they'll be ready to do it. But it is fun to imagine them actually going from jellyfish to an entity with an actual spine!
