Thank you for standing with Latino voters and fighting back against Trump's campaign of intimidation. I feel very fortunate to live in NM where we have amazing Dems in State , County and municipal governments. Unfortunately, some important positions are term limited and time is up. Only the SE corner of NM is very RED, wanna be Texans. All the important measures of course like the Immigrant Safety Act barring the private prisons, and the Epstein Truth Commission re:Zorro Ranch are being challenged in the Courts and/or stonewalled. We are a very blue state; my hope is that with the midterms we remain that way. The RepubliCON gubernatorial candidate does have a lot of important backing though, like from the largest school district in the state.

The discussions about mail-in voting never seem to focus on what is going on with the USPS. I wish somebody would investigate what is happening behind the scenes to potentially gum up the works and keep ballots from arriving on time—or at all. It's no secret that the services of USPS are at a new low. Mail that used to be delivered in 3 or 4 days can now take 10 or more days to arrive. Local mail seems to be routed to larger distribution centers, not only adding to the processing and delivery times, but changing when the items are postmarked. This is all very ominous! We need to pay attention!
