I’m one of those early Defiance.org subscribers. I hadn’t had issues before, but today I wasn’t able to participate in the chat: the app told me I need to subscribe to .news. The boat strikes are, for most legal and constitutional scholars and practitioners, clearly illegal and unconstitutional.
But the worry goes deeper to the not unreasonable prospect that the Trump administration will seriously try to undertake regime change in Venezuela, leading to chaos and upheaval in that country for years to come. And maybe add Colombia to the hit list too. A dismal, tragic future to contemplate.

Goddam, when are Congressional Republicans going to DO THEIR JOB and stand up to this corrupt POS?? If they followed their Oaths, joined the Dems on this uber-significant issue, if they refused to go along with this insane proposed whistleblower rule, they could bring some sanity and relief to the Country. They might even be seen as heroes for doing so (although I'd be hard-pressed to forgive them for doing nothing since January).
