Any idea how many people were at that rally in PA last night? We’ll never get a truthful picture from the WH.

I heard that there were less than 1,000 people there last night. But let’s talk about “scum” - the people who laughed and cheered at these repugnant remarks are the true scum in our country. One more thing - Trump apparently doesn’t realize that brown and black people also live in Scandinavia.

Black- and brown-skinned people even star in popular films there, e.g., Troll & Troll 2 in Norway and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (original 2009 edition) in Sweden.

An opinion piece from Salon reported the venue where Trump held the PA rally only holds around 200 people. The emperor has no clothes.

I would love to know as well. I’d also like to get eyewitness accounts regarding whether everyone there was enthralled with his hideous, cruel word salad or if only a few still think he’s the Christ incarnate.

Late night comedians are on it!! Kimmel was a riot last night. I'll probably land up posting it to lift up some spirits. We're all so depressed, we need a laugh. What the heck. I'll post the Y/T video right here. The comments under the video were good.

For those of us who recall the early days of Trump, his racism was out in the open. From denying to rent his apartments to black/brown people, to his echoing the statement that the Central Park Five were guilty even after they were exonerated, to his claim the "mob" had infiltrated Native American casinos, to his attempt to have a team of blonde whites compete against a team of blacks in the fourth season of "The Apprentice", to his support of the birther theory… his racism has always been clear. Now, with the loss of any filters, it has intensified.

Sadly, too many in this country agree. They are more excited by the opportunity to openly hate the people he hates and own the libs than to think rationally about what is being done to our country.

We come back to that question, "What do we do?" One of our biggest concerns is how we can make people open their eyes to the reality. Some are so deep in their hatred they will never wake but others are starting to see the light. We need to keep working toward that effort

Agreed. I lived in western NC and knew he was racist especially after his media campaign to get the Central Park Five executed(preferably). It was after all that, that I started looking closer into his background and saw how deep the rot went with him and his father. His attitudes have always been there for anyone curious enough to look.

What disturbs me daily, even more than Trump's outrage and actions, is that many cheer and applaud these xenophobic, racist, illegal actions and celebrate his racism. It is so divergent from the civic culture I thought our country had adopted that I am both saddened and furious that we have arrived at this point.

The thing is that Trump is turning our country into a disgusting, dirty, criminal, shitty one. Our own people want to leave. He’s lining his own pockets, disgracing our national parks and selling off our public lands, erasing hard-fought environmental laws for clean air and water in favor of dirty coal and fossil fuels, sending our military into our streets against our own people and arresting, violently, citizens and immigrants that have been her for years without criminal records and disappearing them into horrid places like CECOT in El Salvador and private prisons with no accountability and even torture. He is taxing us to the hilt with his tariffs and lying about it while giving permanent tax breaks to billionaires. Trump is making our affordable health care plans unavailable to millions and unaffordable to millions with no plan of his own ( a concept of a plan is all—for ten years). He is trying to take away our Constitutional right to birthright citizenship when all of his children (except Tiffany) were born to Ivanna and Melania, neither of whom were citizens when they gave birth to Ivanka, Don Jr., Eric, or Barron. He is a cruel, low man who is selling our country out to Putin and Russia while denigrating and betraying our NATO allies of 80 years. He is approving of murder on the high seas and pardoning drug trafficking, money laundering prisoners ( Honduras President Juan Orlando Hernandez) while pretending he is against illegal drugs coming into our country. He approves of anything that will line his personal pockets. He has hijacked our DOJ and is directing Pam Bondi to go after his perceived enemies like James Comey and Leticia James—with no legal basis.Thank God people are waking up to the truth and his poll numbers are way down. I pity those people who laugh at his sick racism, misogyny and wanton cruelty. We can do better. Way better.

This was planned for 50 years. They picked him to do the dirty work of the Heritage Foundation & Federalist Society, "BECAUSE they knew what he was like." THIS is what they foisted upon us ON PURPOSE. This is WHY John Roberts gave him immunity, which was the most stupid freaking thing I'd ever heard of. When none of it makes any sense, that's when we know we're in trouble. It's freaking heartbreaking. >:''''''(

Miles, I desagree with your writing about Trump's racist talk, last night. He was very clear to anyone who was listening, years ago, when he came down that escalator talking about Mexicans! 2016? 9 years ago! He was public about it then! And, I suspect his articulated racism didn't start then. The difference that I heard last night is that he's simply name calling and including other cultural groups in his racist tirades. And now, he's just more open about demonstrating his ignorance about culture and race. Sadly, we have a very ignorant, hateful and fearful man as

the U.S. President today, whose self-will runs riot!

I will never, ever understand those who voted for Trump, including Miles Taylor, but am grateful to Miles Taylor and others like him for their change of heart and their courage to fight to try to stop/reverse Trump’s destruction.

“The only question that will remain is whether the American people — with eyes fully open — let such a man define them. And on that account, the jury is still out….”

Sadly, awfully, the jury IS back. America elected this monstrosity — twice. The rest of the world sees this. We HAVE let Trump define us for the rest of the world.

⭐ 📚🇺🇸 “We Remember… Sergei Magnitsky!”

Grandparents remember the truth that we knew,

Russia was judged by the court in the EU—

Violations so many, the world said “No way!”

Magnitsky’s name echoes to this very day.

But now comes a chorus with billionaire cheer,

Trump, Rubio, and Musk shouting something severe.

Kushner chimes in with a grin that’s askew,

“Abandon Ukraine! Let Russia push through!”

“Step back from our allies! Ignore what is just!”

“Let corporate wallets decide who to trust!”

They whisper that government shouldn’t assist,

That taxes belong in a corporate fist.

Abandon Ukraine and the friends we once knew,

Leave Afghan vets standing with nothing to do.

Turn public protection to profit and dust—

Forget every promise, betray every trust.

With lies and division they stir up the fight,

Turn neighbor on neighbor by day and by night.

But grandparents shine like a lighthouse in view,

Reminding our families what’s honest and true.

So here is the question, though asked by so few—

If government’s missing when dangers break through…

Are our coffers and values being emptied anew

Just to profit the powerful, wealthy, and few?
