Miles, as I watched the video of a murder in broad daylight in a suburban neighborhood of a woman and subsequent escape of the murderer as he drove away, my first thought was ordinary citizens are going to start shooting back. As prevalent as guns are in this society, I’m holding my breath when there are out right gun battles in our streets. I know this is what the lawless administration wants but nothing is seemingly working to stem the tide, so to speak. If this dies evolve to that level, then we in a civil war, not with foreigners but with our own government. I’m envisioning small “wars” in pockets throughout the US, not the entire country embroiled in fighting. But even so, this a chilling scenario I pray will never happen. You are correct to call out the Congress to do something with the purse strings by defunding ICE. As Adam Kinzinger said yesterday on one of his posts, there is no military on earth that needs $1.5 trillion to operate (unless one is thinking world domination, fat orange turd). I’m 74, but I stand ready to take to the streets (again) to show this administration, elected officials on both sides of the aisle (who do absolutely NOTHING to collect their paychecks) and the corrupt Supreme Court, we, the people, are tired of paying them to NOT do their jobs.
I've been thinking that for quite some time. It's only a matter of time. This is the kind of thing that touches off civil wars. All this violence may not stop until some Legislator or staffer is shot. Then it becomes a personal threat to them.
YES, WE HAVE TO BE VERRRRRY CAREFUL TO NOT RESORT TO VIOLENCE. bulgarians recently overthrew their corrupt government with peaceful protests. it is still possible. fill the sidewalks with people blowing whistles and holding signs. as CSNY sang 'won't you please come to chicago (replace with your city/town), show your face.... (penned by graham nash).
RESIST. VIVA LA RESISTENCIA. VIVE LA RESISTANCE. SAMUD.
Bulgaria is a small country. The US is HUGE. Not Russia gargantuan, but huge. Europeans have asked WHY we’re not mobilizing as they expect. Do they know protesting isn’t cheap? For the working people, getting time off is hit-and-miss. Some are also probably financially underwater. I protest at my very small state and I have to pay for parking. To me, it’s nothing. But to a 20-something it’s a possible deal-breaker.
That’s why I see mostly older folks out there. They have time AND money. And memory.
DC? Forget it. I wanted to do Acela and they wanted over $500 for a round trip. I wanted to do the Rally Bus thing organized for both November protests, but NONE of the six or so buses sold enough seats. The tag? $90. But that’s too steep for many of us. Forget taking a car into DC … you’ll never get out.
Factor in The Apathy Problem and we’re in a world of shit.
You’re so right. The US is a huge (and expensive) country. Some friends and I went to DC for the first Women’s March. Know how much it cost to fly from Texas, stay in a hotel for a couple of days, eat, take the train where we needed to go, etc.? For me, alone, the tab was more than $3,000 and we went on the cheap. It was without a doubt, worth it, but it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing.
sadly you are right….especially about the old people being the stalwarts of the protest movement. within cities and large towns, there are always public transit options - so if one doesn’t work saturday or sunday, joining a rally is not impossible, and many rallies/marches are in the evenings (so once again people who don’t work nightshift should be able to make it). in bulgaria, there were mostly young people in the big city rallies, and economically their young are worse off than ours…..but when it comes to their future, and defeating a corrupt government that is diminishing the possibility of their future, they seemed to think it was worth it. the size of the country is irrelevant, the size of a rally proportionate to the population where the rally is being held is what’s important.
there are definitely very poor people in our country, but there are more people who are not that cash-strapped that they can travel by bus to a local rally…the priorities of american youth is similar to the youth of all wealthy countries, and maybe that’s our biggest problem? in this country, millions of people of all ages upgrade their iphones and samsung etc phones as often as new ones come out, millions are spent on game consoles, they buy expensive lattes at coffee shops, they buy trendy clothing and accessories. maybe their parents pay for it, but the point is still the same…what are they focused on? what are they prepared to give up in order to fight for their future? as a senior on social security, i have to constantly determine what my priorities are and what i’m prepared to forgo in favor of my priorities in life….
i agree protesting has some expenses associated with it, but they are not barriers to entry…. ALL ARE WELCOMED, WITH SIMPLE HAND WRITTEN SIGNS AND LOUD VOICES….singing GET UP. STAND UP. STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHT. GET UP. STAND UP. DON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT. (bob marley and peter tosh).
I think there’s a real apathy problem because THEY DON’T THINK THE CURRENT SYSTEM IS WORTH SAVING. They can’t save or get ahead. YET, I know for a fact many of them travel and eat out FAR MORE than I ever did.
I am a US citizen. I was detained by ICE, all armed officers. What did I do? I stood in the driveway to the facility. I was unarmed, quiet, just walked back and forth. Now I am grateful I wasn’t shot!
Impeaching Kristi Noem isn’t enough, although it should be done. Noem and Miller and Trump, himself, should be held legally responsible for this horrible cold-blooded murder.
The escalation in violence comes as no surprise to those who are paying attention. It is my hope that the death of Ms. Good serves a higher purpose, to awaken those who have been silent, that it brings them to the streets. The power of the people is greater than that of the people in power. The power of voices in the millions raised in protest needs to echo across this land.
The “higher purpose”? It will prove that gun ownership to check tyranny was ALWAYS Bullshit. They just keep their guns because many are card-carrying bigots. PERIOD.
I copy & pasted the following post that I made just a short time ago on the Contrarian Substack:
~~~~I watch a lot of WWII documentaries, focusing mostly on the European theater, & specifically on Nazi Germany. Watching the various ICE raids that appear on TV news broadcasts & thinking about what I have seen of the take over of Germany by the Nazis during the '30's I noticed how much 'our' bunch of thugs reminds me so much of the SA, the Nazi Brownshirts, that numbered in the thousands. I watched their brutish, violent tactics & see almost the exact same type of behaviour by our some of federal forces, not all , but definitely more than there should be. Eventually Hitler disbanded the SA even to the point of assassinating their leader Ernst Rohm, who had been one of Hitler's most ardent supporters & much of the SA hierarchy then taking those not eliminated & folding them into the SS & even more brutal but more "professional" band of thugs with their sharp uniforms designed by Huge Boss (Yes, that Hugo Boss of designer fame!) & their psychotic leader, Heinrich Himmler. (By the way, I consider Miller the reincarnation of Himmler.)
I maintain that every time an ICE raid is aired on TV that there should be a split screen showing some of the copious footage available of Gernany prior to & including WWII. One has to wonder if/when trump & his ghouls will develop their own version of the Einsatz Gruppen, the killing squads that followed the Wermacht as they plundered their way through Europe & even more brutally, if that is possible, through the Russian campaign. In my mind it's only a matter of time. And trump & his toadies are priming their rabid followers to do something similar to that, first it was the 'worst of the worst' that they were going to round up, then any 'undocumented immigrant' was considered a criminal, now when protestors appear they are harrassed & shot at with tear gas & worse with trump et al then talking about the violent, radical left Democrats.It seems to me that we are on the cusp of 'shooting them in the legs' & rounding up protestors whether peaceful or not. Look to history, it's all right there from the Enabling Act where the Reichstag willing gave up their power to roving gangs of thugs operating as legitimate law enforcement, to the annexing of other nations, & threatening more. I wonder, will the US have to be completely destroyed as Germany was to eradicate the evil that has befallen us?~~~~
Nailed it with both the ICE/SA and the Miller/Himmler comps! Even more chilling is the fact that the DJT Administration, deliberately or not, is following along almost hand in glove with the Reichstag burning and marshal law under Hitler (Jan 6th attack on Congress and the neutering of Congress is the U.S. equivalent. As to ICE, the black uniforms and balaclavas serve nicely to counterbalance the Nazi party BS/SA. DJT is even intimidating and reshaping the military by politicizing senior promotions and threatening heroes and patriots like Senator Mark Kelly, whose given everything save his own life in service to our Constitution and his country. He's even now moving to consolidate even more power by moving multiple commands into a single "Homeland" Command", Thus making it easier to snap his fingers and to control U.S military actions inside and around the U.S. Pretty cynical stuff, but realpolitik is the name of the game now, and DJT will stop at nothing to enhance his one-man rule proposition via short LOCs. Buckle up buttercups, this has got to hit a wall in 2026, or 2028 will not really matter at all. Slava Ukraini!
Don't you find it odd that even the SA & SS didn't hide behind masks. They just got out there & did what they did but our 'brave' federal agents that we see now won't even show their faces. You'd think that they would be proud of what they are doing!
I like and agree with that split screen idea! I think that's it's GREAT! I believe it would do a lot to wake people up to what's being hidden from them. Good post!!
thank you. Since I have seen dozens of documentaries about Nazis & the round ups & Holocaust I think the country needs a reminder & I'm guessing a whole lot of the country needs to be TAUGHT ABUOT THOSE HORRORS!
SCARY, BUT WE HAVE TO FIGHT THE PUTIN-STYLE-DICTATOR AND THE PUTIN-STYLE-RUBBER-STAMP-CONGRESS TO AVOID THAT KIND OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION OF THE NAZI'S...
fill the sidewalks, blow whistles, bang kitchen pots, carry signs, we are the true patriots from the home of the brave.....
Yesterday’s murder and the reaction to it from this administration shows me that Trump does not need a true reason to call anything an insurrection, therefore allowing him to call for martial law.
… and if he does declare it, “Good” Luck. Let’s see how many 2nd Amendment hypocrites will actually take a stand against this. No, I’m not scared and NO I don’t own a gun.
I just called both of my Senators and my Representative. I told them that they need to defund ICE. They are all Democrats, and they have been loud about the crimes being committed in the name of our country. If the GOP cares about their jobs (and it appears that’s all they care about), they will defund ICE. We the People will not stand for any more lies and excuses. We have had it, and we are angry!
“Homeland Security” was always a mistake and the wrong course of action following 9/11. It needs to be DISBANDED and its “officers” relocated to The Ukraine Front for a taste of their own delusions.
… because the prospects for abuse were always there. Just like The CiA and the other alphabets following the sycophants who enable these creeps. Because despite all of Chump’s fake ovations of “The Deep State”, he and his bigots sure were quick to harness the ambitions of the worst of the worst and use it on US. So, all these MAGGATS who claim to despise The CiA because of MKultra, the cruel syphilis “research” – yada yada – they’re COMPLETELY full of shit. They will NEVER care. The bigots consider their steadfast hypocrisy a badge of courage and tenacity. They’re not patriots – they’re enemies of the state AND us.
Thanks, you inspired me to write a letter to the subcommittee. I am doubtful as to it having any positive effect, but it felt good to do so in my policy wonkish way, set out how ICE needs to be monitored and reconfigured. I sent it to the testimony address and also to the Chair, Katie Britt, and the ranking member, Chris Murphy
January 8, 2026
The Honorable Katie Britt
Chair, Subcommittee on Homeland Security
U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations Washington, DC 20510
Dear Chair Britt and Members of the Subcommittee,
I am writing to urge the Subcommittee on Homeland Security to cut funding for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) until the agency shows clear improvements in its recruitment standards, training protocols, and internal accountability systems.
The incident in Minneapolis yesterday, where an ICE agent fatally shot a U.S. citizen, underscores the urgency of this request. While investigations are ongoing, the preliminary information already points to systemic failures in agent screening, preparation, and oversight. This tragedy is not isolated. It reflects concerns raised by civil rights organizations and local communities regarding the agency’s operational culture and the inadequacies of its training regimen.
Congress has a duty to ensure that federal law enforcement agencies receiving public funds act professionally, with restraint, and with respect for constitutional rights. Linking future funding to clear improvements in recruitment and training is a wise and essential step to rebuild public trust. Specifically, I urge the Subcommittee to require ICE to:
• Establish higher baseline qualifications for new agents, including demonstrated experience in de-escalation and community-based policing.
• Implement modernized, scenario-based training that emphasizes proportionality, constitutional limits, and non-lethal alternatives.
• Adopt transparent performance metrics and reporting requirements that allow Congress to evaluate progress.
• Strengthen internal accountability mechanisms to ensure that misconduct is identified early and addressed consistently.
These reforms cannot be delayed. Appropriations are the most effective tools Congress has to ensure that federal agencies meet the standards the public expects and deserves.
A temporary funding reduction—paired with clear, attainable benchmarks—would send a strong message that the current situation is unacceptable.
Thank you for your attention to this issue and for your ongoing oversight of the Department of Homeland Security. I encourage you to act decisively to prevent further tragedies and ensure that ICE complies with the nation’s laws and values.
Great writing and totally agree but protests in the winter have small attendance. It seems that everything this corrupt administration does is by the Project 2025 book and we are well on the way to losing our democracy. I might suggest another method. I write my worthless Congressman (Jeff Hurd -a liar about his position on ACA and a PPP benefactor - hopefully not a pedophile) and I remind him that he has an oath and responsibilities to his constituents. On the broader scale I would propose emphasis on Kentucky, Iowa, Florida and Texas - they are all ready to get rid of their corrupt leaders. McConnell and Grassley owe us to admit there was an INSURRECTION and they are retiring. Even the Florida legislature is opposing DeSantis and his bag of tricks. Abbott and Paxton are off the deep end and are very corrupt and the Texans are waking up - there is no national support for a state sending National Guard or ICE to coerce blue states to turn red. The two party system ( with limited corruption) has made us the most free country in the world that has been respected for decades - not so now. The answer is still Congress - and we need to rid Cruz, Hawley, Graham, Cornyn, Jordan, Biggs, Roy, Thomas, Alito, and a few others. BTW- Trump illegally ended the FEC and the Hawley/NRA case will not be tried and Bondi will continue to assure that - Hawley should be in jail. Without the FEC, no one is watching Congress's use of campaign funds - more corruption.
Thank you Miles, for this excellent article about everything that’s happening. I don’t understand the lack of caring from the Republicans in office. I use to think they’d wake up, but now I’m not so sure. What Trump and his Adminstration are doing all over the country and beyond is so clearly Unconstitutional but they still do absolutely nothing to stop it. I’m beginning to think they truly agree with him, like Lindsay Graham, for example, when he talked about what they are doing to Venezuela ~ which is clearly illegal. Now an innocent young woman has been murdered by ICE and then Noem quickly called her a Terroist, which is just a blatant lie. I saw the videos, and it was murder plain and simple. I do not Trust our Federal government at all anymore. I grew up in a military household. I know what Democracy is, and this regime is not it. I’m 72 yrs old and raised to be a Patriot and to always be informed. I fear deeply for our country right now. I’ve been doing everything I can to bring back sanity to our nation, but I wonder at the people who remain stuck on the propaganda fed to them by Fox News. I know too many people who believe every lie they tell, and all of their sane washing too. No matter what I say, they just think I’m a lying Democrat. How can we fight that?
The ICE Goon that murdered the Minneapolis woman yesterday has been identified as a Jonathan Ross! The asshole demented JD Vance defended Ross’ actions yesterday because last June he was involved in an incident where he suffered 33 stitches from being dragged by a car? So, this asshole murderer decided to fire shots at point blank range (3 feet) to kill this poor woman and then his fellow assholes told a physician who was attempting to aid this poor woman to “stay away from the woman” and when this physician objected told the doctor “I don’t care”!!!
What was confirmed? 2nd Amendment types are full of shit. Are THEY taking up arms to fight tyranny? Nope! They’re blaming the victim, Renee Good. Kristie Numb bloviated she was a “terrorist”. Good was NOT a terrorist by ANY definition accepted.
So, here we have a tyrannical act by a so-called “law enforcement” agency that LIES to cover its ass and ZERO FUCKS GIVEN by Chump 2nd Amendment pussies who rubber-stamp everything iCE does. The truth is that gun owners are cowards and couldn’t give one fat fuck about tyranny. All they REALLY care about is having guns to shoot brown people and chasing kids off their lawns.
There are a number of videos showing ICE agents pointing guns at protesters, and I recall reading an interview with a retired couple that had engaged with ICE and had guns pointed at them. Though I am shaken by this shooting, I’m sadly not surprised. I just don’t know what to do. I contacted my Congressman and Senators. It looks like an individual is organizing a protest in my town, so I’ll attend that.
Take action. Forget impeachment. Not a consequence. Drag Noem and Miller in zip ties into a cage, no water, no food, no toilet, no heat or a/c, no bedding, no clothes, no Botox, in filth and let them starve to death and rot. Televise it daily so the world can rejoice. Make someone actually PAY for the murder.
The irony of Renee Good's surname should not escape us; she was there to do good for her community. We should remember and celebrate her for that and live by her example.
Renee Good was not there to attack ICE agents, but as a professionally trained observer to witness and document the excesses and atrocities perpetrated by those agents as they scooped up people on the street without any sound legal grounds. She was there, surrounded by neighbors, to protect her neighborhood. I have watched the videos of this shooting from many angles and see a car moving with uncertainty trying to get out of the way of ICE agents who approached and surrounded her car with anger and aggression from the moment they arrived on the scene. Instead of de-escalating, they purposfully escalated the situation. That Trump, Noem and their minions chose to put out statements full of lies contradicted by the evidence of the videos and eyewitnesses, calling her a terrorist who attacked the agents, is despicable, but not at all surprising from this feckless regime that spews lies and hate with every breathe. The videos do not lie; this was murder plain and simple. As one of her neighbors said to the agent who shot her, "dude, you just did murder. And for what?". A mother and wife is now dead. Her children must grow up without the warmth and care of their mother and, instead of letting her family grieve in peace, our corrupt government rushes in to villify her.
ICE is hiring the most infantile, racist, misogynistic idiots with a chip on their shoulder and an appetite for cruelty and retribution against non-white humans and not training them on what they are legally allowed to do, what actions are forbidden or on de-escaltion techniques. Because these overly aggressive, untrained, masked ICE agents have been allowed to run around unchecked without identifying themselves, this was bound to happen. My question is, how many times have similar incidents happened out of the site of cameras?
Our government has now declared war on the citizenry. This is no time for complacency. We must all unite and demand justice not just for Renee murdered by ICE yesterday, but for everyone who has been harmed, tortured and/or murdered by an ICE agent. Contact your legislators to demand action against the ICE overeach and rise up in the streets in large masses to peacefully but decisively block ICE from continuing these kidnappings!
Too bad my family didn’t make a trip to DC in The ’70s before access became restricted. I don’t want to tour it now.
The apathy is REALLY frustrating. If a bus in my state got cancelled, well, try and reserve at the next closest city! Nope, couldn’t do THAT, either.
I really don’t know.
Yes, you are brave.
The 2nd Amendment people? Not so much.
I've posted this before.
It is common knowledge that people who mistreat animals are also very likely to mistreat other people.
Trump put Noem in the position she's in.
Trump owns this.
I posted like this in Joyce Vance. Someone who brags about killing the innocent should never be in this position
Chump “owns” zilch. Putin owns Chump, Int’l and EVERYTHING Chump.
He put her there B/C of that. As soon as she did that, Trump knew he had the type of person he desired.
The only way they’ll go is by the bullet, ’cuz they know they’re in too deep now.
Yesterday’s murder and the reaction to it from this administration shows me that Trump does not need a true reason to call anything an insurrection, therefore allowing him to call for martial law.
… and if he does declare it, “Good” Luck. Let’s see how many 2nd Amendment hypocrites will actually take a stand against this. No, I’m not scared and NO I don’t own a gun.
I just called both of my Senators and my Representative. I told them that they need to defund ICE. They are all Democrats, and they have been loud about the crimes being committed in the name of our country. If the GOP cares about their jobs (and it appears that’s all they care about), they will defund ICE. We the People will not stand for any more lies and excuses. We have had it, and we are angry!
We need to defund Shitler. Deny him Income Taxes.
after reading Miles's post, i sent an email to: https://www.appropriations.senate.gov/subcommittees/homeland-security. i used this email address, homelandsec@appro.senate.gov although it's supposed to be for submitting testimony; in the subject heading, i asked for it to be forwarded . . . sit_with
@risa1 bluesky
“Homeland Security” was always a mistake and the wrong course of action following 9/11. It needs to be DISBANDED and its “officers” relocated to The Ukraine Front for a taste of their own delusions.
FUCK SHITLER.
💩
I went cold when I heard Bush's "Homeland Security" speech. I feared exactly what we're seeing now.
… because the prospects for abuse were always there. Just like The CiA and the other alphabets following the sycophants who enable these creeps. Because despite all of Chump’s fake ovations of “The Deep State”, he and his bigots sure were quick to harness the ambitions of the worst of the worst and use it on US. So, all these MAGGATS who claim to despise The CiA because of MKultra, the cruel syphilis “research” – yada yada – they’re COMPLETELY full of shit. They will NEVER care. The bigots consider their steadfast hypocrisy a badge of courage and tenacity. They’re not patriots – they’re enemies of the state AND us.
Thanks, you inspired me to write a letter to the subcommittee. I am doubtful as to it having any positive effect, but it felt good to do so in my policy wonkish way, set out how ICE needs to be monitored and reconfigured. I sent it to the testimony address and also to the Chair, Katie Britt, and the ranking member, Chris Murphy
January 8, 2026
The Honorable Katie Britt
Chair, Subcommittee on Homeland Security
U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations Washington, DC 20510
Dear Chair Britt and Members of the Subcommittee,
I am writing to urge the Subcommittee on Homeland Security to cut funding for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) until the agency shows clear improvements in its recruitment standards, training protocols, and internal accountability systems.
The incident in Minneapolis yesterday, where an ICE agent fatally shot a U.S. citizen, underscores the urgency of this request. While investigations are ongoing, the preliminary information already points to systemic failures in agent screening, preparation, and oversight. This tragedy is not isolated. It reflects concerns raised by civil rights organizations and local communities regarding the agency’s operational culture and the inadequacies of its training regimen.
Congress has a duty to ensure that federal law enforcement agencies receiving public funds act professionally, with restraint, and with respect for constitutional rights. Linking future funding to clear improvements in recruitment and training is a wise and essential step to rebuild public trust. Specifically, I urge the Subcommittee to require ICE to:
• Establish higher baseline qualifications for new agents, including demonstrated experience in de-escalation and community-based policing.
• Implement modernized, scenario-based training that emphasizes proportionality, constitutional limits, and non-lethal alternatives.
• Adopt transparent performance metrics and reporting requirements that allow Congress to evaluate progress.
• Strengthen internal accountability mechanisms to ensure that misconduct is identified early and addressed consistently.
These reforms cannot be delayed. Appropriations are the most effective tools Congress has to ensure that federal agencies meet the standards the public expects and deserves.
A temporary funding reduction—paired with clear, attainable benchmarks—would send a strong message that the current situation is unacceptable.
Thank you for your attention to this issue and for your ongoing oversight of the Department of Homeland Security. I encourage you to act decisively to prevent further tragedies and ensure that ICE complies with the nation’s laws and values.
Respectfully,
H. Pike Oliver
thanks, H Pike Oliver, for letting me know that I inspired you to write this very civilized letter. mine was a tad feral. c'est moi. Risa
Miles you are so correct and this part 👍
“We don’t need speeches and strongly worded letters about “grave concerns.” I say to my former colleagues on the Hill: cut the money.”
Exactly.
Of course, he’s sitting on a pile of it now so let him bankrupt hisself all over again because insane people never learn from past “mistakes”.
Great writing and totally agree but protests in the winter have small attendance. It seems that everything this corrupt administration does is by the Project 2025 book and we are well on the way to losing our democracy. I might suggest another method. I write my worthless Congressman (Jeff Hurd -a liar about his position on ACA and a PPP benefactor - hopefully not a pedophile) and I remind him that he has an oath and responsibilities to his constituents. On the broader scale I would propose emphasis on Kentucky, Iowa, Florida and Texas - they are all ready to get rid of their corrupt leaders. McConnell and Grassley owe us to admit there was an INSURRECTION and they are retiring. Even the Florida legislature is opposing DeSantis and his bag of tricks. Abbott and Paxton are off the deep end and are very corrupt and the Texans are waking up - there is no national support for a state sending National Guard or ICE to coerce blue states to turn red. The two party system ( with limited corruption) has made us the most free country in the world that has been respected for decades - not so now. The answer is still Congress - and we need to rid Cruz, Hawley, Graham, Cornyn, Jordan, Biggs, Roy, Thomas, Alito, and a few others. BTW- Trump illegally ended the FEC and the Hawley/NRA case will not be tried and Bondi will continue to assure that - Hawley should be in jail. Without the FEC, no one is watching Congress's use of campaign funds - more corruption.
Thank you Miles, for this excellent article about everything that’s happening. I don’t understand the lack of caring from the Republicans in office. I use to think they’d wake up, but now I’m not so sure. What Trump and his Adminstration are doing all over the country and beyond is so clearly Unconstitutional but they still do absolutely nothing to stop it. I’m beginning to think they truly agree with him, like Lindsay Graham, for example, when he talked about what they are doing to Venezuela ~ which is clearly illegal. Now an innocent young woman has been murdered by ICE and then Noem quickly called her a Terroist, which is just a blatant lie. I saw the videos, and it was murder plain and simple. I do not Trust our Federal government at all anymore. I grew up in a military household. I know what Democracy is, and this regime is not it. I’m 72 yrs old and raised to be a Patriot and to always be informed. I fear deeply for our country right now. I’ve been doing everything I can to bring back sanity to our nation, but I wonder at the people who remain stuck on the propaganda fed to them by Fox News. I know too many people who believe every lie they tell, and all of their sane washing too. No matter what I say, they just think I’m a lying Democrat. How can we fight that?
… many Chump RiNOS are now fully Russian moles.
The ICE Goon that murdered the Minneapolis woman yesterday has been identified as a Jonathan Ross! The asshole demented JD Vance defended Ross’ actions yesterday because last June he was involved in an incident where he suffered 33 stitches from being dragged by a car? So, this asshole murderer decided to fire shots at point blank range (3 feet) to kill this poor woman and then his fellow assholes told a physician who was attempting to aid this poor woman to “stay away from the woman” and when this physician objected told the doctor “I don’t care”!!!
Let’s see if “the gun rights” crowd has any modicum of self-respect left. Let’s see if they have the courage to “stand up to tyranny”.
Spoiler Alert: They’ll do nothing. They’ll just burn time on 4Chan talking about how they’re gonna kill Libs.
Yesterday changed nothing. We KNEW it was coming.
What was confirmed? 2nd Amendment types are full of shit. Are THEY taking up arms to fight tyranny? Nope! They’re blaming the victim, Renee Good. Kristie Numb bloviated she was a “terrorist”. Good was NOT a terrorist by ANY definition accepted.
So, here we have a tyrannical act by a so-called “law enforcement” agency that LIES to cover its ass and ZERO FUCKS GIVEN by Chump 2nd Amendment pussies who rubber-stamp everything iCE does. The truth is that gun owners are cowards and couldn’t give one fat fuck about tyranny. All they REALLY care about is having guns to shoot brown people and chasing kids off their lawns.
FUCK SHITLER.
💩
"2nd Amendment types are full of shit. Are THEY taking up arms to fight tyranny? Nope! They’re blaming the victim"
IKR????!!!! >>:() That was their excuse for letting children get shot to death in schools! >:()
NOW, when they should use them, they are CHICKEN! It was all BS! Now they're shitting themselves, and agreeing with CRIMINAL ICE!
… because they’re bigots.
There are a number of videos showing ICE agents pointing guns at protesters, and I recall reading an interview with a retired couple that had engaged with ICE and had guns pointed at them. Though I am shaken by this shooting, I’m sadly not surprised. I just don’t know what to do. I contacted my Congressman and Senators. It looks like an individual is organizing a protest in my town, so I’ll attend that.
Let people like the one who popped Charlie Kuck Do Something.
👍
Take action. Forget impeachment. Not a consequence. Drag Noem and Miller in zip ties into a cage, no water, no food, no toilet, no heat or a/c, no bedding, no clothes, no Botox, in filth and let them starve to death and rot. Televise it daily so the world can rejoice. Make someone actually PAY for the murder.
The next time Blondi Jo walks into a hearing, have the Sergeant at Arms on the ready.
She got off the BIGGEST fraudster next Chump: Rick Scott.
Blondi is completely, utterly full of shite. And probably in The Epstein Files, too.
🤣
I sure wish that I could SEE that.
The irony of Renee Good's surname should not escape us; she was there to do good for her community. We should remember and celebrate her for that and live by her example.
Renee Good was not there to attack ICE agents, but as a professionally trained observer to witness and document the excesses and atrocities perpetrated by those agents as they scooped up people on the street without any sound legal grounds. She was there, surrounded by neighbors, to protect her neighborhood. I have watched the videos of this shooting from many angles and see a car moving with uncertainty trying to get out of the way of ICE agents who approached and surrounded her car with anger and aggression from the moment they arrived on the scene. Instead of de-escalating, they purposfully escalated the situation. That Trump, Noem and their minions chose to put out statements full of lies contradicted by the evidence of the videos and eyewitnesses, calling her a terrorist who attacked the agents, is despicable, but not at all surprising from this feckless regime that spews lies and hate with every breathe. The videos do not lie; this was murder plain and simple. As one of her neighbors said to the agent who shot her, "dude, you just did murder. And for what?". A mother and wife is now dead. Her children must grow up without the warmth and care of their mother and, instead of letting her family grieve in peace, our corrupt government rushes in to villify her.
ICE is hiring the most infantile, racist, misogynistic idiots with a chip on their shoulder and an appetite for cruelty and retribution against non-white humans and not training them on what they are legally allowed to do, what actions are forbidden or on de-escaltion techniques. Because these overly aggressive, untrained, masked ICE agents have been allowed to run around unchecked without identifying themselves, this was bound to happen. My question is, how many times have similar incidents happened out of the site of cameras?
Our government has now declared war on the citizenry. This is no time for complacency. We must all unite and demand justice not just for Renee murdered by ICE yesterday, but for everyone who has been harmed, tortured and/or murdered by an ICE agent. Contact your legislators to demand action against the ICE overeach and rise up in the streets in large masses to peacefully but decisively block ICE from continuing these kidnappings!
“Our government has now declared war on the citizenry.”
It officially began on June 14, 2025, at that pompous military parade. It shoulda ended as Sadat’s.
I completely agree with you on this!
