But look who agreed with Trump: ass lickers Alioto and Thomas.

Corrupt, result oriented right wing is anything but "conservative".

Totally expected - they are still "earning" all those fabulous trips and gifts fronted by Harlan crow

Finally! And you don't have to guess who desented. And Kavanaugh's wiggle is not a suprise. What consituti9n are they reading or writing?

None that you or I have read or sworn allegiance to.

Nevertheless, vote in person if you can or use the official ballot boxes. With the tiny-handed tyrant, nothing is ever done. And he will find a way to upend or corrupt this decision.

CORRECT‼️‼️‼️ DO NOT MAIL YOUR BALLOT BACK‼️‼️‼️ Take your ballot to a Dropbox, or if you cannot, have someone do it for you‼️ Until this post master is out, they cannot be trusted‼️‼️‼️

As Miles Taylor wrote on the Defiance Substack, watch out for ICE disguised as voters at the voting locations. Vote early. Do not use USPS to mail your ballot. Get it there somehow.

Thank you, Baby Jeezus....and Alito and Thomas can both go fuck themselves for eternity.

The best news thus far! I’m to vote in Texas and have to vote by mail. I was so upset my vote wouldn’t be counted I had an elaborate plan to disguise my ballot and have a friend drop it to the voting center. Back up was to have to fly back and VOTE. I think I would’ve done it. Texas is so close to throwing out the goons. Miles I’m so glad I support Defiance and SAM. THANK YOU and Xander for all the incredible work and such proactive initiatives.

I'm thankful for this upside!

I'm always hoping that " this" will be the incident that pushes the Supreme Court too far and they will finally decide that Trump is an existential threat and a luxury they can no longer afford!

Gratefully taking the win! I have to say I was a bit surprised 7 of them managed to do right thing. Of course Alioto and Thomas, good lackies that they are, had to rule for the Fuhrer. I know the fight goes on, but for tonight Mail-In Ballots are a go.

I am sure the post office has other shenanigans planned

But at least not for tonight

In Oregon we were NEVER going to comply with Trump’s massive election fraud and continued corruption. We have been exclusively, securely voting by mail since 1998 - 28 years! ICE likes to terrorize this state as we are independent and happily weird. 🐸 But with exclusive VBM they have no one to bully. Wish all states had our system!

Karen Rivera's avatar

Kudos for : "independent and happily weird. 🐸". I bet, in this moment, all states wish they had your system, too. We have mail voting, early in person, or Election Day in person. We're a Blue state, and ICE is roaming the streets. But I will drop off my ballot at a voting site so I can watch it be deposited in the receptacle.

And if you can, use a drop box to return your ballot.

Did Alito and/or Thomas offer any explanation or justification for their dissent? Did Kavanaugh explain why he thought the rule that the USPS could choose whom to send requested mail-in ballots to might be allowable or constituionally permissible? Because sometimes cows do come home and pigs can fly, and you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear ? In fact this last feat has been achieved by a Cambridge MA-based company I worked for which used gelatin extracted from pig's ears to create a silky, artificial protein fiber and then successfully manufactured a tiny coin purse out of it. We also made a lead balloon fly. However, both achievements require the application of scientific knowledge, which is anathema to this federal government and its supporters in Republican-led states. Did Senator Susan Collins say about this 7-2 decison, "Well, you could have fooled me!" - as if we did not know that already ?
