Don’t trust the post office. If you receive your ballot, vote then deliver it or have someone deliver it for you. The post office is a dysfunctional presence of its former self. Trust me they have lost so many things of mine.
I was shocked at four of the six Christian Nationalists on the Supreme Court actually upheld the Constitution.
The six certainly didn't uphold the Constitution in their decision concerning Presidential immunity. There's no such thing as Presidential immunity anywhere in the Constitution. If fact, the only place immunity is discussed in the Constitution is immunity for Congressional members during debate on the floors of the Senate and/or House.
The six didn't uphold the rule of law in their decision concerning a woman who didn't want to bake a cake for any LGBT couple who wished to marry (religious liberty). No one asked her to bake a cake. Therefore she was never harmed and the case should have been thrown out as she did not have standing. Remember the Court said the States had no standing in the first mail-in ballot case because they hadn't been harmed, YET.
The six thwarted the will of Congress in their decisions on gerrymandering in the States of South Carolina, Alabama, and Louisiana when they essentially threw out the 1982 Amendment to the Voting Rights Act. Even when the District Courts made a factual determination the gerrymandering in all three cases was racially motivated, the six said: that's ok.
Nevertheless, vote in person if you can or use the official ballot boxes. With the tiny-handed tyrant, nothing is ever done. And he will find a way to upend or corrupt this decision.

The best news thus far! I’m to vote in Texas and have to vote by mail. I was so upset my vote wouldn’t be counted I had an elaborate plan to disguise my ballot and have a friend drop it to the voting center. Back up was to have to fly back and VOTE. I think I would’ve done it. Texas is so close to throwing out the goons. Miles I’m so glad I support Defiance and SAM. THANK YOU and Xander for all the incredible work and such proactive initiatives.
I'm always hoping that " this" will be the incident that pushes the Supreme Court too far and they will finally decide that Trump is an existential threat and a luxury they can no longer afford!

In Oregon we were NEVER going to comply with Trump’s massive election fraud and continued corruption. We have been exclusively, securely voting by mail since 1998 - 28 years! Did Alito and/or Thomas offer any explanation or justification for their dissent? Did Kavanaugh explain why he thought the rule that the USPS could choose whom to send requested mail-in ballots to might be allowable or constituionally permissible? Because sometimes cows do come home and pigs can fly, and you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear ? In fact this last feat has been achieved by a Cambridge MA-based company I worked for which used gelatin extracted from pig's ears to create a silky, artificial protein fiber and then successfully manufactured a tiny coin purse out of it. We also made a lead balloon fly. However, both achievements require the application of scientific knowledge, which is anathema to this federal government and its supporters in Republican-led states. Did Senator Susan Collins say about this 7-2 decison, "Well, you could have fooled me!" - as if we did not know that already ?
But look who agreed with Trump: ass lickers Alioto and Thomas.

I just wrote to Vote.org to find out where Drop Box locations are since I couldn't find info on that in my local search.
