For starters, Trump loves cosplaying as a great military leader.
Meanwhile, the people he actually commands have been stuck at sea for nearly nine months, and the stories coming off the USS Abraham Lincoln are brutal.
And while relief is finally on the way, Pete Hegseth’s response to sailors in crisis isn’t exactly inspiring confidence.
Then there’s ICE, where DHS has apparently found a new definition for “de-escalation.”
It involves electrified gloves that fall more along the lines of torture devices than a means to restore calm and order on our streets.
Then there is Karoline Leavitt.
Now while we at DEFIANCE have no love lost in her announced departure, her exit does stir up some old feelings for Miles: working for a man who knows no boundaries, demands everything from those around him, and gives precious little in return.
