First, Trump's claim that he's owed $230M because of a DOJ investigation, now this. I admit that in my wildest dreams, I didn't see the DOJ's becoming a source of money for the MAGA royalty.

You have added some fuel to my already raging anger at the 7 Democrat Senators who betrayed the American public this week. I don't care about King, he's as useless as Collins. Maine is a beautiful state, and the people I've met who live there are generally good people, but there must something in the water in Maine that breeds this special brand of nitwit Senators.

agree. we hafta keep fighting the right. we hafta keep fighting for what's commonly termed the right things, we hafta keep fighting for our rights.

politicians always feign interest in 'hearing from their constituents' but they really are only interested in constituents who agree with the politician on any particular subject. they don't want to hear what you disagree with, or if you want them to consider alternatives...

did the 8 senate democratic traitors ask their constituents if they should do this?

NOPE.

are there any true, ethical, principled, moral representatives of the people in the people's house??????????

I just left Maine 2 weeks ago, very docile wealthy and some areas not so. However I met modtly what I’d describe as genuine pacifist. I did have dinner with a group that is Very Exvitec over Platner. But there is a ton of wealth out there on the coast and beyond the pristine beaches.I thoroughly enjoyed my trip …..but it always felt a bit homogeneous . A lot of neutrality on everything.

It has been ages since I worried about external enemies - though it is clear that we are far weaker and more vulnerable. A regime that has turned on its people and grasped wealth from the hands of those who cannot even afford to feed themselves is the personification of evil.

Wait. I guess the GOP's meaning to a "clean CR" is an increase to healthcare insurance costs to millions of Americans and a $500,000 grift amendment for eight Senators.

this further entrenches the belief that 'representatives of the people' is a ridiculous phrase. republican and democrat politicians do this all the time in various ways (they won't close tax loopholes for the rich because politicians getting rich on the congressional gravy train are using the loopholes to hide their wealth from taxes)....but under trump, trump repugnicans do it ALL the time..... grifting and protecting their own wealth and interests at the expense of the greater community, are adding to the list of horrific republican family values.

how about we have class action lawsuits by all citizens who have had their telephone data investigated by anyone from the government - any and all governments - without our consent.

F**king politicians are the 2nd most revolting species on the planet, F**king billionaire dictators are the worst species. the only species that deserves extinction - trump and his gang of thieves.
