We all need to speak out against this and show this administration that we reject this attack and support Senator Kelly, a man who spent his entire adult life in service to this country. The Department of Defense is making a huge miscalculation on this one.

If this charade is successful, why would anyone agree to serve in the military if that will be a millstone hung around their necks for the rest of their lives after they have left the service? The six members of Congress (a political body) must be able to speak out on political matters even if they disagree with the president! "The Major" (as the military brass laughingly refer to DUI-hire hegseth) is a moronic meat puppet at best.

The “crime“ here is disagreeing with or criticizing the supreme leader. Yes, folks, speaking out against the flatulent, overstuffed, orange fungus that has infected the office of the Presidency is now an act of either sedition or treason punishable by death in the United States of America. Why? Because Trump says so. You can thank John Roberts for this. You can thank the cowardly Republicans in the House and the Senate for this. And you can thank the ignorant shitheads, who can go straight to hell, who voted for this sorry piece of filth! And any one of us could be next. Wake the fuck up, America!

I loved the phrase, “the President lost his marble.” Whether a typo or intentional, it does highlight the fact that he only has one marble left. The threats against Mark Kelly seem to be going viral, which I appreciate, since it signals that plenty of people know this is bullshit. We all need to continue to be fearless in speaking out. I hope that the spineless Republicans will slither off to a life of ignominy when this is all over.

This is yet another new low for this corrupt administration. Senator Kelly is an American hero and true patriot. His response to the accusation is one of defiance. I support him and refuse to remain silent.

The only crime I see is that a 34 count indicted felon pretends to serve the American people while, instead, serving himself. HIs method? "My way or the highway." Clearly his map is wrong, we can choose another direction – away from him.

Like all Defiance members, I stand with Mark Kelly, Leticia James, and James Comey against this pitiful dictator wannabe and his cronies.

Give us OUR American back.

Senator Kelley will get the attention he deserves. This attack like tariffs, vaccinations, masked police activity, HHS destruction, affordability, Epstein, Ukraine, and every move DJT makes will eventually confront American self respect.

Played well once the comparison between Kelly and Trump is made plain the choice will be in the words of Jefferson "Self evident".

We will not tolerate the idiocy of Whisky leak’s ridiculous investigation into a national hero. It’s time to remove him - this should be his downfall!

Miles I encourage you to review Maine Senator Margaret Chase Smith's Declaration of Conscience delivered on the senate Floor by her June 1 1950. In the throes of the McCarthy era she stood up as the only woman in the Senate at that time and delivered the statement which also included six of her male counterparts endorsing it. There is even a radio broadcast - I believe a simulation of her voice. It's a piece that fits well your first part of the Defiance News broadcast today 11/25/25. Many thanks Miles.

The administration has long shown that its great virtue is incompetence, from handling the Epstein files to the crash of Lindsay Halligan and the collapse of the Comey/James cases. But what beats all so far is magnifying what the six former military and intelligence congressional Democrats presented in their video, noting the truism that our military troops must never obey illegal orders. Their highlighting this only points yet again that the administration is tone deaf.

Mark Kelly is a hero in mine and so many Americans so reminding the Arm Forces to abide by their oath and the constitution and not the crazy one on the throne.

To think he has his fingers on the red button and calling the shots should scare anyone.

⭐🪖🇺🇸 “The Soldiers Who Stood With the Scroll”

In a land where the stars and the stripes proudly roll,

Where democracy hums

like a drum in the soul,

There marched a brave legion,

determined and whole—

The service-strong troops

who stood firm with the Scroll.

Not a scroll full of riddles, not a tale to console—

But the Constitution’s promise,

the nation’s true role.

Its words are the compass

for every patrol,

The oath and the anchor

that strengthens the whole.

From boot camps to barracks, from sea to high sky,

They trained with a purpose

no foe could deny.

“To defend what is lawful,”

they learned as their goal,

“To guard every freedom,

each right, every soul.”

But dark winds came rolling in chaos and cries,

With talk of commands

that were twisted in guise.

And some tried to push them

to acts foul and unwhole—

But the troops held the line

and stood firm with the Scroll.

For two leaders stepped forward—

Mark Kelly, Mark Milley—

Steady and seasoned,

not swayed by the silly.

They told every soldier

from rank up to role:

“Question the unlawful.

Keep truth in control.”

“An illegal order

is not yours to keep.

Your duty’s to country,

to freedoms we reap.

Stay loyal to law—

not the whims of a troll.

Your honor is rooted

in guarding the Scroll.”

And parents, and grandparents, and families before,

Who served in past battles

and old, noble wars,

Passed lessons like heirlooms—

our patriotic gold:

“To protect the republic

with courage and hold.”

So salute to the troops

with their hearts brave and whole,

Who guard our democracy

pole to pole.

For the nation stands tall

when its defenders patrol

With integrity shining—

and hands on the Scroll.

George Orwell is shaking his head from the beyond. How could we have paid insufficient attention to allow things like exercising one’s First Amendment rights become potentially illegal? I know, I know, rhetorical question. I just wonder what the people who demonized women and contrary (woke) opinions think they accomplished by voting for Trump. If they survive economically will their “team” be in power forever? What if they were subjected to politically motivated discrimination or prosecution?
