On Tuesday morning, in case you missed it, the Portland Frog Brigade delivered Constitutions to Congress. Hundreds of them. And it was amazing.
This was part of a long-planned activation we built together: a simple, visual reminder that the document members of Congress swear to defend still exists — and still applies…and is more important than their “loyalty” to Trump.
You can watch the livestream of the deliveries above. It was quite something. Frogs in costume. Pocket Constitutions in hand. A clear message attached. Read it. Honor it. Defend it.
The best part was that this effort was powered by you.
Every pocket Constitution delivered was purchased and funded by members of this community — people who believe that democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires participation and persistence and, sometimes, a little creative defiance.
To everyone who helped fund the Constitutions, organize the delivery, coordinate logistics, or show up in person: Thank you.
You turned symbolism into action and reminded elected officials that their oath wasn’t decorative. And you proved — again — that when people ask, “What can I do?” the answer is: quite a lot.
