I ask myself what is so earth-shattering since the man claims he is innocent and has nothing to do with any of this? Is it a lie? Is it that he has so many donors and people that he is protecting? Is it that is whole empire, regime and legacy (hmm, that one seems obvious) will come crashing down? Is it the ruination of the whole Republican Party? My guess is that the answer is E, all of the above and probably many other consequences than we even know about. I've never personally known a world of no consequences for actions, but THAT is what $$$ can buy you. It is a tale as old as time and as far reaching around the entire world.
How does this not say guilty?! An innocent person would not have to go to these lengths. So either Trump is covering up for himself or for someone else more powerful?!🤔
Wouldn’t that in itself be illegal. The Sit room costs money, every time it is used it costs money, if its that special then it costs the tax payers money. Why does Donalds staff get to use it to bully someone to protect him from charges that he duly deserves. Another misuse of government money to protect Donald. I am absolutely infuriated that this would happen when a good portion of this country are trying to figure out how to feed their kids.

After maligning (unfairly, I believe) those who voted to reopen the government, I hope the critics are choking on their words. It has become quickly apparent that Trump and his gang were never going to concede anything. Nothing! Their larger concern was to keep the Epstein files out of public view. This is the one issue that may finally sink him. The central issue should be long-awaited vindication for the victims (it is for me), but I will take his head on a stick (metaphorically, of course, since he’s deteriorating by the minute so nature will take care of the literal process) after 10 years of watching him destroy our nation.
Meeting secretly in the situation room is too reminiscent of Soviet actions against dissidents. Has anyone seen Boebert since or is she in the White House Gulag?
